In 2011 this juried art exhibition awarded $4,200 in cash and prizes to outstanding high school art students residing or attending school in the Shoreline region.  Held at the Lyme Academy College of Fine Art, it offers students the experience of exhibiting in a professional gallery setting.

Students who reside or attend school in the 20-town Shoreline region are eligible to submit up to three works for this juried competition. Towns include: Branford, Chester, Clinton, Deep River,Durham, East Haddam, East Haven, East Lyme, Essex, Guilford, Haddam, Killingworth, Lyme, Madison, Middlefield, North Branford, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, Salem, Westbrook. Categories of submission are: ceramics, drawing, mixed media, painting, pastels, photography, print making, sculpture and video.
